Hall News

The Annual General Meeting of the Cherry Gardens Memorial Hall was held on Tuesday 26th February. The meeting approved a number of changes to the Constitution. The Committee is currently exploring ways of upgrading the appearance of the Hall; hopefully you will notice some positive changes over the coming months.

I would like to let you know that Minton Farm’s circular bird of prey flight is now completed. It is the first of its kind in SA and available for you all to access to rehabilitate injured kookaburra, tawny frogmouth, owls, falcon, hawks and eagles.

As mentioned in last month, a Ladies Guild was formed at Cherry Church in 1936, supporting the church both spiritually and financially until recent times. Football Club

The Recreation Ground AGM was held recently and congratulations to Andy Adams who was elected as President for the 2019 year. All other positions were filled by the incumbent committee members. Football season for us starts on April 6th at Torrens Valley but before then we will have already played a couple of trial games.
